Fortnite V35.00: Star Wars Crossover Update

Recently, Fortnite updated to version V35.00, and the sixth night, third season's Star Wars crossover theme is now live. Star Destroyers, accompanied by the gunfire of TIE fighters, have descended upon the Fortnite island. The Reapers have drawn their lightsabers, feeling the Force, and are fighting off the invaders.
This update hints at potential future changes for Fortnite, with the game expected to return to the US IOS platform next week.
Although this season is marked as the sixth night, third season, EPIC's backend labels it as the sixth night mini-season 1, implying there might be another mini-season in the sixth night. Data mines suggest that next season, Fortnite will add Zero Point Spirit items, similar to the current Water and Wind Spirits, which can use Zero Point Flash effects. Additionally, there are leaks suggesting the sixth night, fourth season might be superhero-themed.
A highlight of this season is the dynamic sky background, where players can witness various fighters battling and occasionally see crashed aircraft. The physical collision simulation feature mentioned early last year has also been implemented in this update, bringing a new gaming experience.
The shop has a new daily hot item function, and bows will soon be permanently available in the Happy Island for players to use.
Regarding game modes, the LEGO mode is updated to the Galactic Conflict theme season, with a new LEGO crossover pass and many Star Wars crossover weapons, items, and gameplay. LEGO Odyssey racing has a new PVPVE mode – Extreme Survival, where players compete to survive on a Star Wars island. LEGO Bricktales also features a lot of Star Wars content, such as the Star Wars Duel Arena. In addition, the LEGO rhythm game mode has updated many Star Wars crossover songs and instruments. There will also be a Happy Island concert made with UEFN by an outsourced team this season. The Rocket Racing mode is also collaborating with Star Wars, with many new car skins, tires, and exhaust flames available.
The classic nostalgic mode has adjusted the spawn rate of different quality pistols, and the meteorites in the sky are getting closer to the Fortnite island, expected to form a meteorite rain in about half a month. The Reload mode is about to be updated, with the new map based on the second page, second season template. Due to a programmer's mistake in the REO mode, Star Wars weapons were incorrectly added and then all items in the treasure chests were deleted, resulting in only melee combat currently. The ranking mode has also changed the ranking names.
This update adds tier pass skins and 12 new skins, with far more than 15 old skins returning, among which the most noteworthy skins are Little Berries, Dragon Ball series, Marshmallow series, and Cowboy Bebop series.
In terms of game mechanics and gameplay, the sixth night removed all mechanics and gameplay, only keeping the floating island mechanism, and temporarily removed the landing roll and wall jump mechanics. Two special vaults have been added, providing players with a lot of chests and resources. Furthermore, the game introduced the Din Djarin Jedi Apprentice Inheritance mechanism. Darth Vader, Han Solo, Luke, and other NPCs will appear on the map, and interacting with them grants players Jedi Warrior Inheritance, which bestows lightsabers and special force abilities. Currently, there are three active Force abilities and two passive Force abilities, with more Jedi Inheritances to be introduced later. It's important to note that lightsabers obtained through elimination do not have Force abilities and can only use basic lightsaber moves. The lightsaber's block damage has also been reduced.
New map boss mechanics are introduced. Darth Vader resides in the lower-left Vader's Castle, and defeating him grants the Jedi Warrior Inheritance. The First Order is in the upper right, and defeating them rewards a blaster rifle and a white ice badge. The floating island boss is still the Cube Queen, and defeating the minions still grants shield badges.
X-Wings and TIE fighters are added to the game, possessing high health and self-repair capabilities. The disguise phone booth mechanism returns, allowing players to disguise themselves as First Order soldiers or stormtroopers. The new Star Destroyer cruising mechanism will launch a major gameplay event called "Star Destroyer Assault" in the final week, where stone gates will randomly appear on the map, allowing players to enter and control the Star Destroyer.
Regarding weapons, items, and skills, EPIC removed all non-Star Wars weapons and items, leaving only purple shock grenades, small and large shields, big bursty assault rifles, bursty SMGs, and sodas. Since all Star Wars weapons don't require ammo, ammo is temporarily removed this season. Seven-Star Wars crossover weapons are added, including blaster pistols, blaster rifles, etc. These weapons significantly changed the combat style of "Fortnite." However, weapon balance and the learning curve present challenges.
Map-wise, the vault locations of the Wolf King Kane from last season are being rebuilt into new landmarks, and supply trains are now regular cargo trains. This update adds four new major landmarks and replaces five-Star Wars minor landmarks.
In terms of plot and Easter egg events, this season is a side story with little connection to the main storyline. The general idea is that the Force wave from the battle between the Mask Maker Da Wu and General X tore through the cosmic barrier, reaching the vicinity of the dead heart. Emperor Palpatine sensed the threat from this power and followed the energy fluctuations to outside the loop, preparing to use the array line sharp gun. The final battle event, "Death Sentence Termination," will take place on June 7th.
