You'll need to create a new "seasonal character" to play seasonal content, but all your hard work exploring the sanctuary and defeating demons won't be in vain. In this guide, we'll explain everything you need to know about the Diablo 4 Seasonal Reset, including the rewards and advancements that will be given to players like Standing and the Altar of Lilith.
Diablo 4 Season Reset Explained - Difference Between Eternal and Seasonal Realms
Starting with Diablo 4 Season 1, all characters are divided into Eternal Realms and Seasonal Realms. To play seasonal content and earn seasonal rewards (including the Battle Pass), you must create a new character in the Season Realm each season. New characters can skip the campaign and get the mount immediately, as long as you've completed at least one campaign on your account.
Starting with Diablo 4 Season 1, all characters are divided into Eternal Realms and Seasonal Realms. The SeasonalRealm doesn't allow you to use previously acquired gear, but there are many things that can be permanently migrated from the EternalRealm to the SeasonalRealm, such as Lilith Altars and Skins.
