Diablo 4: Blizzard bans thousands of players for cheating

Blizzard's Diablo IV cheat warning has banned thousands of players. A well-known example of player cheating is a vulnerability known as the "seasonal exploit".
In most games, at least a few people try to circumvent the game's rules to improve their status. Some use exploits, others use mods made by other players to gain an unfair advantage. In recent days, Blizzard has taken a tough line on players who try to violate the rules, saying that violators will face severe penalties. It now appears that thousands of players have been caught red-handed and criticized.
A few weeks ago, a community manager on the Blizzard forums posted that "All Diablo IV players agree to the Blizzard EULA as a condition of playing the game." They added, "The Blizzard EULA expressly prohibits cheating , bots, hacking, and any unauthorized software that automates, modifies, or otherwise interferes with the game."
Some players have gracefully acknowledged their injustice, while others have proclaimed their innocence on places like social media and Reddit. Recently, a person who posted on Reddit asked other Reddit users for help, stating that he is not using any type of banned software and that Blizzard will not lift the ban on them.
One of the game mods mentioned by the community manager is TurboHUD4. Using this banned software allows players to improve their quality of life within various games. For example, keeping track of legendary items, displaying event timers, loot counters, etc.
Blizzard has also taken a very strong stance against the use of game exploits. The seasonal exploit was patched in version 1.1.1 and many people using it got banned. There's also an exploit that lets you repeat nightmare dungeons by switching party leaders.
It should be noted that most people who played Diablo IV played by the rules. Blizzard hopes that by taking action against those who want to cut corners, it will make gaming a more enjoyable experience for everyone else.
